What is a P.A.?

Hiring A Public Adjuster is an option that no insurance company will ever tell you about because they know we will keep or make them honest.

  • We are state licensed insurance claims professionals that adjust claims on behalf of the public to represent insurance policyholders when they’ve experienced loss or damages to their homes or businesses.
  • We are highly regulated by the state in which they work, who make sure that the Public Adjuster is following state guidelines and operating according to state ethical standards, administrative guidelines, and state statutes.
  • In the state they are adjusting claims in, PAs must finish an insurance course in their primary state of residence and pass a state administered exam, also comply with fingerprinting and background checks, and in most states require a surety bond of a set amount dictated by each state, and some states require an apprenticeship under another licensed PA for six months to one year.

(Each State has specific requirements. Please check with each state regulating agency for Public Adjusters. In most states, the regulating government entity is The Department of Insurance. In the State of Florida it is The Department of Financial Services.)
